The Borg Warner T-20

Here is the breakdown about the T-20......its a pretty bulletproof transmission. I have taken apart units that were 35+ years old and they still looked like new inside. They are pretty easy to rebuilt and are really well designed in my opinion. There have been some slight variations in the T-20 units that have been built over the years so if someone wants to jump in and keep the ball rolling here, please tell us about them for anyone who may be curious.

About a year or two ago one of my brake drums and pads went out on me. I believe it was from the previous owner letting the trans fluid run dry but I was about 2-3 miles away from home down a trail and I could only turn right all the way home Let's just say there were a lot of times that I spun around to the left to go right

Anyway, all it took was a brake drum and new band and all is well but here's a couple of shots of the drum carnage. The rust comes from sitting outside for the past week but that obviously wasn't there when I first removed it. You can see how worn in the drum is.
