Transmission Crafters will reline them for $35 each.

Recreative industries in buffalo for new ones. Don't buy them form Richards relics as they are not new and cost almost as much. Send them to get re-lined or buy new.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

One of my bands is missing like a 4 inch section of lining material completely. Should I send it in to get relined or buy new? I can post pics given on by request.

The cost on "new" bands is like $110-$120 each.
Relined bands from Transmission crafters are $35 each.
The new bands are slightly thicker steel, and have both ends tig welded.
If you have accessto a tig welder you can do the second eyelet on your "used" bands before they are relined.
Relined vs New........same wear material, just the steel in the band is different. Does steel wear out? Well, I guess it could fatigue over time.
Personally, I'd say that if the "new" bands were more like $70 or less (twice the price of rebuilt) I'd say buy new. But at 3X the price....get them relined.
I've dealt with transmission crafters twice. The first time I sent in 2 sets, and turn around time was about 3 days plus shipping time each way. The second time it was about a week. If time is an issue, I'm sure Recreatives would ship out same day.

Transmission Crafters is a good place at $35 a piece they can re-line it (thanks thebuggyman1 for the recommendation). They will do a great job and takes about a week including shipping and actually re-linning.
