Turning sluggish

Well 6x6 family I am having an issues with my Max II. Whenever I go to do a turn on a corner/around cruve, ie 90 degree turn on to my street, My Max II seems like it is getting to much brake. I give it nearly full throttle and it is still sluggish until I come out of the turn and let off the lateral. Could it be my chain adjustment is too tight or is my transmission adjustment too tight. My wife's Max II turns with easy and she can blow right pass me without increasing the throttle.

Sounds like (to me) you might be having clutch issues. Does it turn ok from a standing start (not moving first)?

My first thought is the belt....is it worn?
I just switched to a 1 1/4" wide belt....it rides higher in the secondary, giving a better gear ratio at start.

Agreed. check your belt first especially if it is a new problem and it gradually got worse. Knowing your driving style I would peek around the frame ans t-20 cradle and look for stress cracks. if the t-20 is pulling out it could cause a lack of power.

It turns great from take off. I will check the belt, I have a spare I can mount but it response great when I take off turning or going straite. Just for whatever reason it seems like too much brake when turning a curve. I thought well maybe its my tires are catching too much grip on the pavement but it does the same in sand or soft dirt/mud. I thought maybe I was pulling back too hard but I tried my wife's Max II with the same amount of pressure and it turns just fine, she can almost maintain the same speed without any extra throttle going around curves.

I will check the frame and cradle for cracks though, thanks all for places to look.

I ended up checking the belt, checking the frame, lubing the chains, checking how tight they were and finally I took and adjusted the T-20 by backing the adjustment bolt out 1/4 turn. So I come to believe that when I first adjust them I had it too tight. turns alot better now.
