  • Unable to Shift T20

My diamond shifters are secured with a plate bolted to the top side of the case half.
While in the swamp. I could no longer shift in reverse and when I shifted forward. It worked only on one side. I did manage to use a pry bar to engage the diamond plate on the side that didnt work, into the forward position and drove the hustler out of the swamp and to my shop. No matter what adjustment I do. I cannot get one side to shift. A couple questions:
Is there a pin in the shifter that could have broke, preventing it to operate?
If so, can I work on the trans without pulling it out of the hustler?

If I can pull it out, will reinsertion be just as easy?
Is there a link that shows the blown-up view of this assembly?

All fixed. I pulled the diamond plate shifters out. The steel pins were in good shape and weren't a problem to remove them at all. I turned them around and reinserted them. Now the ends are like new. The grove that you can insert a screwdriver in, to shift forward or reverse. Needed a little lube and coaxing back and forth till it moved much easier. Put it all back together and what a difference. A bunch of thanks to Shane for the walk through on the phone!
