Need argo trans info.

I have an argo that i think it is an 89 model as far as i can tell.The trans was froze up so i took the side cover off and cleaned it up and got it moving good.I'm not too familiar with this trans,The clutch and disk are back on it so my question is when you turn the clutch only the right disc turns,If you hold the right disc and turn the clutch the left disc turns.Is this right.When i put it back together you could turn the clutch and both side would turn until i held the right disc with a socket.

Yes, that is correct. The argo transmission will send power to the side with the least resistance just like an open differential in a car will.

Thanks mike.That's what i thought when i could turn each disc in opposite direction.
