ATF only, dont use gear oil. I havent played around with which atf works best. If you do a search you will find recommendations of which atf to use. Recreative industries has changed which one over the years so I dont think it really matters so much. Gear oil can react with the glue on the bands on curtain t-20's. Mine came with gear oil and I have been lucky I guess that nothing has happened.

I use Royal Purple MAX ATF. It's full synthetic, good stuff...

Manual says atf, type f for heaver machenes.....or is it lighter lol
