I have a 2005 argo avenger, is the new CVT invance secondary clutch better? Is it worth upgrading and does it have a changable helix.

The cvt invance is fairly new and it's hard to find people who know much about it...technical questions should go right to CVTech. That said, I dont think you will want to swap it out.
The position of the belt is about 1 1/2" different......think of the invance as flipped around bakwards.IMG_1044.jpgIMG_0997.jpg[ATTACH=CONFIG]9095[/ATTACH
This is in my MaxII Bigfoot where I needed the extra clearance for the larger primary clutch.
I also have a 2005 Avenger, and it would be a BIG job to relocate the motor, and I dont think there would be any gains to make it worth doing.

from personal experience the drive clutch sucks but the lower driven clutch i like,
the reason the drive clutch sucks is because it for one is noisey and it tends to loose its grip
on the belt under heavy loads and power, and from a person i know whom sells them has told
me that the clutch has more silica in it causing easy glazing of it and the belt, now the driven
i think is better than the comet for one it can take a wider belt and works better with the comet
drive whitch is what i run now...so im running a heavy duty drive belt thats 1-1/4 wide giving me
      more grip and longer life

here's a couple of pics of a comet drive and a invance driven working together
with a 1-1/4 belt, the ideal set up is to run the belt as highup on the driven as possable
without going over the edge and very little space on the drive
