    Does anyone know the thickness of the tools to adjust the bands on a late model t-20 Thanks

    IMG_0930.jpgI've never used tools they sell, they look like a p.i.t.a. to me. I was using a thin walled socket, but found out it didnt fit all the "U" channels.
    Now I just cut a slot in the bolt heads and use a screwdriver.

      I can check and get you a measurement tonight, but I don't use them anymore. It's easier and more accurate to measure from the case to the U channel next to each plunger.

          Here is a drawing for these tools. There are also pictures of people that made them from open ended wrenches by grinding them down. Remember to use INCH pounds not FOOT pounds of torque.

          I just bought some .25 wide strips of metal and bent them into U shapes. These are handy to keep the bolt head out of the keeper while you are adjusting them. After getting the to the right torque on the .25 spacer I then just turned the bolts enough turns (about 1.5 turns if I remember correctly) to make the distance close down from .25 to .20 inches. Seemed to work well.
