Hey Don - You planning on attending this Aprils Busco Beach? I'm still planning on heading down there on Wednesday morning (to get my favorite spot and check out the general area).
Now for the question --- How do you have your winch mounted. I got the new Warn 1700 and noticed that if I leave the Hawse on it that I will be putting a lot of angled pressure on the winch plate (the Hawse will be pointed down so the force would be at 90 degrees to the mount). Since it's just a metal plate connected to the plastic body I'm concerned break (the plastic not the winch). I noticed that some of the 6x6 have the same winch mount I have but don't have the Hawse and others have a winch plate that allows the winch to sit 90 degrees from the front (which allows the Hawse to work).
As a reminder, my home phone number is 703-222-3773 and I'm generally back home by 7:00 PM each evening.
