Your right about removing the flywheel that way, but it only works if you get the bolt on first lol. Thats were I am stuck right now. As for splinning the big foot, It would be way cool but I believe you got 1 5/16 diameter and all the splinned ones made are 1 1/4 so I don't know if it will work. I would think that if you ot some stock 4140 or better and had them keyed for the sprocket and pinned for the hub, it would work almost as good as splinned. I broke axle pins all the time until I had a keyed axle made. By eliminating the pin hole it eliminates the weak part. For your carb, just keep watching ebay. That stuff pops up all the time, its just finding the right deal. I was actually thinking of swapping carbs and intakes out of the attex with some 20 hp parts, but the price just seems to high for the parts so 18 hp it is.
