    How to post pictures

    Here's a short "how-to":

-Click on "Gallery" at the top of the page
-To the very right of the screen is a link that says "Upload Photos" ..click that
-Choose the appropriate category that your photo should go under
-Click on browse and find the photo that you want to upload and double click on it
-Enter a title for the photo
-Enter a short description of the photo
-Enter a couple of keywords that people would use if they go to search for your photo
-Click on "Upload/Submit" and you are done!

If you choose to upload several photos at one time then you will be redirected to a screen where you can change the title, description, and keywords for each picture. Then you can hit upload again.

If you are having problems uploading photos, it is usually due to the size of the photos. There is a limit of 3000 kB which is close to 3MB.

There are several methods to resize photos but I will cover the basic way:

If you are going to be taking pictures there is usually a file size setting directly on your camera where you can choose a smaller size and meet the 3MB restriction. However if you already have the pictures here's what you can do:

Open Microsoft Paint if you are running Windows by going to start/all programs/accessories/paint

    -Click on File/Open
-Double click on the picture you are trying to resize
-Under "Stretch" change the values from 100% to something smaller like 50%
-Click on File/Save-As and save your newly resized image
    -You're done!

You may have to play with that value depending on how large your pictures are but normally 50% will do it.

Now you have your pictures in the gallery but how do you put them in the threads?

-Click on the image in the gallery that you want to post
-Scroll down in the "additional info" section and there is a line of code next to "Linked Thumbnail" that looks like this: [url=http://www.6x6world.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/951][img]http://www.6x6world.com/gallery/data/533/thumbs/Max-ii-an
    -Click anywhere on that code
-Hold down Ctrl and hit "C" to copy that code
-Go to the post that you are making and hit Ctrl "V" to paste that code into your post
-That's it. Now you have a thumbnail image that links to your gallery photo!
