How is the power on your responce, I have been looking at a new 06 that my local dealer has?

KC, I can not imagine that much more power would be nessary. My response will climb anything I put it on. Once I have the plow I will have a better idea on the power to push stuff. I have super tracks and have climbed almost vertical snow enbankments with no problems with power!

Guys, is there a place I can order the plow parts from directly? I was quoted 1300 now, with no installation of the plow. Is there a plow that fits the factory brackets besides the argo built plow?

This Februrary has been the highest recorded snowfall for our area EVER! And, we still have March to go! Anyway, I had to put my tracks on my Argo Conquest 8x8 and, I cannot find the correct tire pressure required for tracks in any of my literature I have from when I bought my unit. I know Rock Doctor will know, and perhaps someone else may too?!? The plowing is going alot easier with the tracks on, I just do not want to do any damage to the tires or any other parts.

Hi Art, I try to run about 4psi in my tires with tracks, but as your tracks/track pins wear out, you will have to increase tire pressure to keep the tracks tight. I will run up to 5.5 psi, but when that's not enough, it's time to remove the "half track link" or replace the pins. If you remove the half track link, you can then drop tire pressure down to about 3.5psi and work your way back up to about 5 psi as you see more wear. Once your tracks become loose at 5 psi without your half track link, it's time to replace your pins and any track links that show excessive wear through the pin holes. After rebuilding your tracks, you can put the half link back in and start over.
There are variables, like tire tread wear, and axle bearing condition that will also effect track tension.

Tracks under excessive tension WILL effect the lifespan of your outer 4 corner bearings, and they should be checked regularily. (Actually tracks under any conditions will effect these bearings, and they will be the first to wear out)

This is just my opinion, even though some think I shouldn't get an opinion
