I might have a chance to buy a 2010 HDI argo, I am just getting all the info on it,I can tell you it was privately own and it has around 300 hrs on it,I was just wondering if anyone out there could tell me if there are any factory problems with this year of a machine.I know that this was the first year that the HDI units were release.

early build 2010s were actually better than late 2010 and 2011.just make sure it has round muffler .some later 2010s and all 2011s had hexagonal mufflers creating heat problems (melting plastics). also the excessive heat build up created problematic trans troubles(ie.melting locktite on some internal parts and weakening)

I have very early HDI. ODG papers say its came out of factory 05. november 2009. Im second owner. First owner didnt done himself service things but maintenance was done by local workshop. He use Argo at water and also he stores river water in chain tunnels. Chains was rusty and bad shape. I use Argo almost in that shape 2 winters. Of course I chance oils and etc.
For this winter I have chance 6 outer bearings and all chains. And also I have chance one handbrake caliber and brake pads.
It has now 1060km and 280h. I use it mainly with rubber tracks and dont have track tuners.
I have been pleased my HDI. Only problem here in Finland is that local dealer doesnt have spare parts in his storage so it tooks almost weeks to get parts. I try to keep few of parts in my storage that I can use Argo if something break down.
