Hi,
Wheel bearing grease suitable for under water operation will either have a
lithium / calcium base found in a 220 and 460 thickness shell brand
or aluminium base found in a 120 base thickness many brand Dupont
220 thickness is ideal amphib only
120 is ok in boat trailer and amphib
I dought these are suitable for chains as there thickness would not allow them to flow well enough.
A friend uses chain and bar oil [chainsaw ] paints on with a brush
For an o ring chain try the spray wax grease for motor bikes [previously mentioned Du pont chain saver .]
To much excess oil and grease in tub attracts dirt sand etc
tomo
