    Thanks for the quick replies. I'll call my Argo dealer here in Anchorage and get a price list. I also have been pestering him for a service manual. He said they may have a service manual on a CD which would be better for me.

    Tracmaster, I did go on ebay and found what you were talking about for a "buy it now" for about $40 Lots of them on there too. Looks simple to hook up as well.

      Dennis, Tracmaster is right about the Tini tach and hour meter. I have one on my Max and it has never failed, but it is on the engine and the max engine is in the rear so the hour meter function is more useful than the tach.
      I recently saw an old argo vanguard that had a FACTORY 4000 RPM tach on the dash! It was really cool, I am sure that is pretty rare. The dash panel had a semi circular bulge that hung down below the rest of the dash just to accomodate the tach. Does anybody know of a 4 or 5000 rpm tach for a twin cylinder/
