Not sure whats going on with my new toy. The first time I took it out the Ammeter was showing that it was charging at just over 16 volts. I checked out my buddies avenger and his was just over 14 and most charging systems I am familiar with are also around there. So, I double checked it with a multimeter and sure enough, at full throttle it was topping 16 volts. Well, I ordered a new voltage regulator and I put it in yesterday and still the same story! What am I missing? Anyone else experience this?

Hmmm on my 2000' BigFoot my volt meter reads just about 12 volts, when running,,,,Hammer down maybe 13 volts,,Battery is the same one I got it with,,,so far it has been fine. 16 Volts seems to much,,,seems to me,,13.9 or so volts is about all you want on most 12 volt systems.
