OK decided to keep the eBay carb after checking with shipping prices to send the carb back its hardly worth it and im tired of dealing with a computer screen and some knuckle head seller. so after drilling out the throttle arm and a homemade gasket and straightening of the fuel needle i poured some gas in the carb and she started BUT only for a few seconds. took a closer look and no fuel line from pump to carb LOL. so what im trying to say is yes the carb works and i will test it further on a trail ride see how it performs!

But think of the stuff you’re learning! You’ll be able to dismantle and put an Argo back together in no time flat!
Keep chugging away at it and you’ll find something simple...

ok my gasket did not work it leaked. what can i use now instead of waiting weeks for a gasket to come in? also i seriously think my fuel pump isnt working for some reason. it worked all the time before i got a new carb. the only thing i changed was fuel line, filter and new pickup tube in the tank... i bought a new piece of black fuel line instead of the thin hard piece that was already there.does that new fuel line have anything to do with the fuel not getting up the lines?? how hard is it to remove and clean the fuel pump maybe has some dirt in it as well?

had it running of a glass of gas and the lines are dry. somethings not right. could i suck up a piece of dirt that would stop it that bad or is it some problem with the pump?
