ya actually thats where we hunt yearly.. the moose i took down this year was at km 27(from #10) on the sheridan road to the left about 5 kms back in.. sheridon had a forest fire here last summer, sure looks different these days!! you hear of people taking moose off kississing lake every year. that might be another place to try out. were you hunting northeast of sheridon towards jungle lake?? went up there this year for a ride and didnt see a track. from the butchers ive asked there was 57 moose cleaned this year(FF and surrounding area) not counting what people do on their own. for how many moose there actually are they are pretty elusive. got lucky and scared this one this past year out of its bed.. was with a twin bull but couldnt get a second shot.. happened to fast.. only 40 or so yards away.

The moose always show up when you least expect them. The argo will open up lots of new areas that the 4 wheeler crowd can't access. I know there is a power line that runs between Sheridan and Snow lake that would stop Quads at the lake crossings but the argo should have no problems. Can't remember the lake names but I know they had lake trout.
