    secondary clutch

Hi RD. The clutch on my machine was so bad that I only got to run it about 1/2 mile before it piled up. This one was the same aproximate size and it seems to work great. I'll know a little more as the weather warms up, as I now have a second one to try out. They are both in the early 80's..

"storms" machine has some sort of lever through the firewall that looks something like what i was thinking of.

Ummm, the only thing sticking thru my firewall is the shifting lever...Just to let ya know! The 2 leather pouches and the hardcore anti-knee bashing foam pads are the only "mods" I have done to my firewall, so far.

Swampdonkey. If you want to see what my clutch is like, give me a call at 271-1598 and I can give you my address so you could drop by and check to see if it would be the same as yours.

Oh, that's not a lever, that's just the remote control for my winch, sticking out of one of the pouches I mounted to the firewall.
Seriously, It's not a lever. Again, all I have sticking thru, is the stock gear shifter.

My machine is an Argo 2005 Bigfoot 6x6, 18HP B&S Vanguard V-Twin motor.
