I have a newer Argo Conquest 8x8. About a month ago, I thought the motor was bad and was considering replacing the 20 HP motor with a 29 HP motor. I later found out my motor just lost a push-rod to a valve. I have that repaired now.
Anyways, I am still considering replacing the stock 4-cycle 2-piston kawasaki 20 horse power motor with something with more get-up-and-go. I do not want to tear up the drive train or perform major modifications to make the motor fit in.
So my question is... Has anybody replaced the motor in a newer model Argo Conquest with something bigger? Is there anything that is simply unbolt - remove the kawasaki 20 hp motor - set in the newer larger motor - bolt up - then drive away?
