Argo brng and seals change "how to vid"

Doc, I'd like to see one on how to change out chains. I have no clue. I understand after so many hours it's pretty mandatory they have to be changed, so that may be one you could consider. OR put the bearing change & the chain change on one DVD. I guess tho you would NEED to have it done before you did such a thing haha. Of course if you made one, I'd pay for it if you wanted to sell it.

I think I have footage of chains being put on, and I have some time tonight. I'm out at work, on shift (I work out in remote camps, I'm at a "one man station" right now........BORED to fricken tears actually), I brought my Laptop with me. If I can put something half decient togeather, I will. No charge, of course, I don't mind helping people that want to learn.
I was going to change the front wheel brngs on my wifes quad (I brought it out here with me), but I have untill next wednesday to do that. Don't really feel like working on the quad anyway.

Absolutly awsome! This vid helped me go out and take all 6 wheels off and change all outer bearings! I liked the tip about ditching the set screws on the inboards what a PITA those were! Thanks Rock doctor! O and on a side note I was able to get those bearings for $16 a piece from the local bearing store.

Nice Video RD,,,It's going to be a big help to alot of Argo owners,,,Including me,,I have to look into the right side of my BigFoot,,,something clicks and can feel a bump once every revolution,,,Jacked up I wiggled and yanked on each wheel,,,nothing with excessive movement,,,but time to pull the floors and look into it more! Thanks for the inspiration!

Great video RD, I didn't know where to post this question so i chose this thread. I have a 1990 magnum that i am changing bearings on. when i push the axle in, after flange and Bearings are in place, do i go all the way so there is no movement? Before i started tearing into things i noticed the axles had some play in them. By the way, i filled the grooves the seals had made in the axle with jb weld and filed smooth.seems o.k.

If you take the time to keep them wet with grease and wipe them clean after your rides they will last a very long time, with just a little neglect they will not. A huge factor in seal life is the condition of the axle they ride on, if the axle is seal grooved from a lack of lube and abrasion a new seal will not last long even if you maintain it properly. A Ready Sleeve can be used to repair grooved axles or if your cheap like me some JB weld and 600 grit wet paper works wonders on restoring seal surfaces.
