I did make the ramp. It could look familiar to some cause I copied it from one that sold locally. I beefed it up to 1" tubing vs. 3/4"

I allso load My Response 8X8 on my truck. I bent 2 pcs of 1/4" plate steel 12" wide by 10" {3 bends} to fit over the front of the truck box allowing me to create 2 Ramps with 2x12 planks in the Box. works awsome
A word of Caution when loading with a Moose in the Argo a t bar extension from the triler hitch is a good idea I bent the tail gate on my 02 Dodge doing this LOL

the best way not to load

many moons ago 30 years worth, we loaded an argo 8x8 into a long bed chevy 1/2 ton by revving it up and forward motion against the tailgate in it's lowered position...worked really well, just crawled right in...it rained, and was slick, and wouldn't crawl up the now wet tailgate, so....we got a run at it, hit the tailgate rather fast, but straight on, and it launched into the air and sent the hull and half the hood through the back glass into the cab area...that would have been a good pic for whippers air bud wall....lmao

Z71 short bed, with deck out of 2-12s and tri-fold ramps, as well as a ditch. Very top heavy on truck going around corners, scary.
