ok boys,finally i have gathered up most of my parts.still waiting for a couple engine parts but at least i have all my new brake parts and rotors put back on the tranny.still waiting for my 2 new front splined axles as well.will post some more engine pictures as soon as i get it reassembled.lucked out with it for sure.just had to lap the valves in a bit everything else was lookin real good.

have the same machine and im in the midel of a taredown also you can run 22 rumamucks with your tracks have 2 other machine and they work great have pictures posted on forum

wow,that is some great news.i thought i was fubared with my tracks since my machine has 20" tires that are total garbage.if i can use tracks on my machine with 22" runamucks this guy gonna be happy as a pig in poop.

I just bought one as well looks identical but no tracks same colour but it has 16 tecumseh in it it also runs but needs some work been sitting for 7yrs. chains were all rusty so I ordered 40ft. of chain chinese jobbys real cheap #30.oo for ten ft. may have to sepperate body to get in the engine department to change the short chains , also I don;t think anybodys ever grease the axles. Nice rig you got hope you have fun in it. ERNIE

a nother good idea is over the year the tube will sag in the midel and when you put your tracks on they will start to rube on the tube and make a hole have a solution have made a small fram that straitens the tube and still free floats so argo can twist i will get some picture for you so you can see them and make one youre self very easy it also helps so handels dont touch the top also will get those pictures asap

thanks moose man.i got some 1/8" aluminum checker plate it so it it runs full length of machine,and bent it so it extendes down side of tub.was hoping that the aluminum would take the sag outta this old girl but never thought about allowing the tub to twist.thought the checker plate would also help to distribute the weight of gas tank and seat,especially when i squeeze my fat azz in there,lol.

hopefully front axles will be ready next weekend.the small machine shop that im dealing with had to rent the tool to cut the splines.cant wait to get this sucker back together.

I had the same bent up for mine but only about 18'' long to brace the side after it sagged and to help mounting some sport seats. If you dont use the whole lenght I'm sure there are a few guys arround that would like the shorter sections to brace theirs. It is supprising how much flex there is which must smooth th ride out little.

yupper man,just drill all them rivets out.dont even try messing around till u get the bodyspit in 2.

so now that ive got the engine running,today i started fitting up the axles and jackshafts.hopefully will have everything mocked up by the end of next weekend.

another small step completed.have got the engine mocked up on the frame and the jackshafts in.spun the new jackshafts and boy o boy the sprockets that drive from engine have a nasty wobble.damn things are out about .20.is this acceptable or will that wobble destroy my chain?

I think I would fix that while I had everything out. Are those new? It looks like they are new or recently welded?
