Marc, I have the 18HP Briggs I/C flat twin in my Hustler BIGFOOT. It is a really good motor (with the exception of the notorious fuel pump/vapor lock issue). I think Briggs replaced it with the V-twin Vanguards is because the V-twin engine configuration runs smoother and does not vibrate like the flat twin I/C did. Also, I think the V-twin Vanguards are a little more efficient on fuel and not as noisy.
By the way Lager99, those are some great pictures!Last edited by jpswift1; 03-09-2008, 02:53 PM."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

That pic is from Buzco Beach. That was a great ride adventure. Maybe a group of us can invade this area. It is made for us.

Thanks Chapy, when they look like that you've had a great ride. We had a blast that day. 4-wheelers follow us most of the day to see what it would do.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Nice machine M350!
Would like to see it at the April 19th ride. Can you make it? Be a good time to put a little brown on that red. The more the better.
