what type of fluid does the trans take in an argo? Its an o4 bigfoot.

This is from a manual avail online that I frequently reference for my 2001 conquest. It was printed in 2005 and covers the conquest as well as the bigfoot.
"Refilling the Transmission
Refill the transmission through the oil fill/dipstick hole with 30
oz (.85L) of 80 W 90 Gear Lube HYPOY-C. As you refill the
transmission, check the oil level with the dipstick. Check that
the oil level is even with the mark on the dipstick, after it has
been seated fully in the dipstick hole. DO NOT OVERFILL."

thanks for the info! i really want to keep this in top shape to avoid any brake downs. I keep the drive chains ajusted and the chains lubed and grease the bearings. is there any thing else to keep up on?

If you have the battery out, there's a bearing under there to grease..

I couldn't find hypoy C so I used synthetic

I like to use a chain lube that doesn't sling off on the transmission chains.. keeps it off the brake rotors.. the other chains I use whatever..

From what I've read here yes. The tranny uses gear oil.
