First New Argo
Tim of Adair Argo was kind enough to send me the first picture of my completed Argo:
I'm excited to get it, not just as a big-boy toy, but as another form of liberation, where I can pull out of my garage, hang a left, and head out into the wild. When I built my house 9-years ago, my intention was to get an Argo then; but, as life goes, career and family took all of my time, where I was, frankly, too focused on work to enjoy such recreation. But, two years ago, I made major lifestyle changes, more living in the present, adding aspects like exercise and boating to my life -- which dramatically helped balance my life. And, really, this Argo is the next evolution in that process, where even despite the most stressful days, I can hop in the Argo with my 14-year-old in the evening and leave the world behind. So, I'm pretty stoked about not just having the Argo as a "toy," but really as another piece of liberation in my life. ...I have to add some positioning straps and such to keep my lower body in place based on my disability, but once I'm up an running, I'll surely post a video. Lastly, this community at 6x6 World is a refreshing, supportive group, void of the nonsense found on other forums, and I really appreciate everyone's voices and knowledge -- it's been a great help as I've gone through the process. Thank you.
