i agree bazooo guy,ive triple checked all connections so i must have shorted something before i ripped the machine apart.sometimes a simple"boost" will blow these CDI's.anyhow should get the new one for next weekend and make the machine go vrooom vrooom!here are a few more pictures.

Cdi ignition is great when it works but a pain when it doesnt......make sure all your wires are in the right place or you could fry the new one...

bud im so pissed at myself for frying the igniter box i have taken no pictures.however i did work on the machine today after i got the garden planted.promise to put some pictures up tomorrow.

Further update Plott the fearless,ready for a test ride and there haven't been much pics lately.NCT

upate:checked everything again and found a blown fuse.replaced it and now have power to both coils but still no spark.removed the ignitor and checked it as per kawasaki instructions and discovered that it is toast.pulled a dumbass move somewhere along the line.

ok still no pictures,too damn frustrated at this moment lol.still cant figure out why i have no spark.pretty sure its something simple like a wire in the wrong place.number two coil (closest to driver)has a black wire on the mounting bolt,i kind of think that is the culprit.can anyone take a look at there conquest and see if its the same as mine?its a spade connector.

son of a gun!im almost done,everything assembled but i got no spark.must have a wire off somewhere,gotta go over everything in the morning.

If you want to see what your machine looks like when its completely stripped down, check out a few pic's I posted in the photo gallery. I've been plugging away on the overhaul for about 5 weeks off and on, I have to say, there is a lot of bolts to one of these units. I am completing the wiring today and should have the beast running by this afternoon....the appolstery lady hasn't finished the seats yet (Monday) so I may have to test drive it using a stack of rags for comfort.lol.
