2004 Conquest Update.
I have now put a new fuel pump in (Kawi), new Gates alcohol rated fuel line, fuel filter, pulled the carb and cleaned all the things with little holes with a torch tip cleaner (thanks RD). I put a new float needle valve and gasket in the carb for good measure.
It seems to be running really good, but I am getting a little bit of surging at WOT. I think this might be caused by a slight lean condition at my house elevation (5200 ft). I have the 108 jet in it and I am running it with a whole can of sea foam in the tank.
I pulled the new plugs after running the engine for about an hour and they looked a bit lean as well. I'm hoping it will be perfect when I take it up to 7000-1000 feet and run it in some snow this weekend.
I actually got some pics to work. This is my machine just prior to purchase. I will take some with the side curtains on in the snow this weekend.
