I broke down and bought some of those magic Adair tracks for my Conquest. They say other than getting high centered you can't get stuck so I am looking foward to the challange.

Congratulations! Get those baby's mounted up and hit the mud. You will not believe how effortlessly you drive through muck that would before have left you spinning your tires. You also will stay a lot cleaner.

I noticed that the people with tracks have some kind of fender flair that sticks out the side of the Argo above the tracks. I assume this is to keep the wider tracks from slinging mud into the argo?? What are you guys making these out of???

UHMV? What does the V stand for? My guess is it would work fine, but you don't want it too thick. I would not go over 1/8" for that application

PM Obsessed. Tim has some very simple flares that attach to the back under-body and he will most likely know exactly what size you need. Otherwise I think Mike who manages this site does something with conveyor belting on his machines.

The waiting is murder!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to get my tracks!!!!! There is this real nasty black water swamp bottom near my house and if I even get close to it I get stuck. The second I get my tracks I am going to drive right into the middle of it. If they can get me across this stuff they will go any place.

When you finally get the Adair tracks installed on your 8x8 you'll constantly be amazed at where you can take you Argo with out getting stuck. If you ever get into a muddy situation where you're hardly moving forward or maybe not at all, let off of the throttle and this will allow the tracks to sink down into the mud. You can then open the throttle slowly and move forward in the very same area that you thought you were stuck in.
