Hmmm He does own the t-20 now too. Hint hint

Slightly larger lower to hold some 26" tires. Taller and axles apart some more too if it can be done to still use the original top.

Center to center on the axles is not great enough and there is not enough frame length. According to Matt there are no plans for any other Attex related parts other than a few reproduction poly lowers to match the uppers he has aquired with a few extras being made for others. There would be no sense in making a product to compete with the Max.

        Sorry Keith.

If I had the choice I would much rather buy a New Attex than a Max II just sayin. Easier to maintain with a better looking design. I don't see how 1" pinned axles are that bad, an Attex would be cheaper and easier to make, with just as good performance.

Is there a faster way to melt the abs. I had a piece off part of the body and cut it into smaller piece and mixed with acetone. It seemed to melt slowly. It seemed like the acetone was evaporting. The pieces didnt seem to melt much over 20mins or so. any suggestions

It's going to take longer than 20min. Take your abs put it in a jar add acetone and let it sit over night. The jar needs to be sealed or the acetone will evaporate. The more acetone you add the faster it will dissolve and the thinner the goo will be.

Make sure the lid isnt abs plastic. Lol

I used a pop bottle. But after a while it made the plastic shrink. Lol

Salsa jars have wide mouth openings. I always use them for stuff like this.

while I'm buying acetone by the gallon at Lowes/ Home Depot, I just grab a couple empty gallon paint cans with lids. I usually keep a half gallon of goo in black, yellow and green. If it dries out some over time, I just add a little more acetone. I find it easier than starting from scratch every time I need some.

attex7.jpgattex6.jpgattex5.jpgattex4.jpgattex3.jpgI did one of the small repairs. Now need some more advise and suggestions. There is a big crack going up the side as you can see in the pics. I removed all the fiberglass and sheetmetal that someone put on. Is it best to just use glass cloth and goo? or should i put some sheet metal over to help hold it?

Glass cloth and goo is the way to go. Just v the crack is the goi has more surface area to connect too.

So take the metal out of the inside also. What do I do with the parts that are offset and I can't get back even? What's the best to do with the hole?
