I mead no disrespect, you are a very talented craftmen, but the plate that mounts to the body, wouldn't that put a huge amount of force into a small space. Say you are in loose terrain, and only 1 or 2 tires get traction, in a hard turn, it would try to "flex" that axle instead of turning. Instead of 3 plates per side, what if you had one continous plate per side, the full lenght of the unit. this would distribute any force to a much bigger area. Again, no disrespect, just a thought!

Hey Whipper,
Good luck. Be careful. I can't wait to see the videos. If you have more than one camera and operator, try and get the comments/reactions from the spectators. I'd love to hear what they have to say about The Spider.

Whipper good luck, wish I could be there to see it. I know the videos will be great judging by what you guys did with cameras back in the 70's. Kill a few "Rhinos" for me.

That is an absolutely amazing break through you are making for the 6 wheeler hobby, Whipper!
The way you engineered and built that springer, I would imagine that you will be able to show those Rhinos what a REAL machine can do.
Good luck with it, and I can't wait to see the pictures and video.
