I'm not completely positive that this was a Caddy Shack reference, but I'm going with it. Those springs look awesome, and I'm still insanely impressed with the overall cleanliness of the fabbing. CNC, waterjet, everything TIG'd, I'm assuming?

I share in your frustration about most suppliers these days. I struggled for over a month talking with Motion Industries, and several (SEVERAL) Fafnir reps trying to find the original RIM outer bearings (The number RA103NPPB5 will forever be ingrained into my prefrontal cortex).

So I says "hey Llama; how about finding me some friggen' bearings?"....

Gold Springs, Gold SPRINGS! You know that your project has no budget when you order Gold Springs

They look good Whipper. Are the limiting straps new too? I look forward to hearing how it goes this weekend. You know we will be expecting more video right?

Whipper, I just read about your heat problem in the news. Do you have air conditioning in the shop? I assume you do other wise the heat would play havoc with your CNC. Keep up the beautiful work.

95 for a morning low temp. Guess I'll quit complaining about 80. Nice winters out there though.

Awesome! Looks clean, smooth and above all - fits like a glove.

I haven't been watching this topic as much as I should have, but did you do any computer analysis for the response, ie spring k constants etc?

    Keep It Your Own!!

If I were in your position, with a revolutionary new design, I apply for a patent & keep it as my product. Regardess of what any ONE aatv manufacturer may offer you, you'll do better if all of them can use your product & buy if from YOUR company. It brings to mind the guy who invented intermitten wipers for automobiles.
    Just my opinion.
