Looking good there BD. Keep us posted with pics.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

The seat back is to long. The seat back fits in the groove up a little. The bottom of the back starts on top of the cushion on seat. That whole board has to move up and probably cut some of the top.
Sorry I didnt post sooner but the question was hiding in the pictures and I didnt see it.

              no problem.

Then the seat back is mounted to the engine cover. I just have them both sitting in my though but there are times when they do move around and I wish they are mounted. The seat set I use was already made when I got them but for some reason they weigh a ton. Thats why I never mounted them because together they are just too heavy. Not sure why, thick lumber i guess but could be water logged? But I cant get any water out of them. not sure but they are heavy.

I use to race there about 5 years ago. I live in Heath. If you need some scrap abs, let me know. I' give you some. You can grind it up for repairs or use it for plastic welding.

My outer bearings seam to be Pressed on since I cant find any locking device ie set screw, clip, etc.
What do you guys think of these? I figure I will just make new axles as long as I am at it, the hole for the hubs on some are wallowed out.

The bearings are pressed on. Personally I love them. I never have had any problems with the axles walking in/out. They(bearings) come off when you want them too. No messing with setscrews or eccentric locking collars. Great setup that works.
