Hey guys,
To convert over to the newer first gen. 1" axles you will need the axle and the outer bearing with flange. The inner bearing is the same because the 3/4" axle sprocket tubes go in the inner bearing so its big enough to work for the 1" axle. You will also need 1" sprocket tubes and 1" wheel hubs. The 3/4" hubs are part of the axle. The same little allen bolts are used both models. So once you get the parts its just a matter of swapping them. No machining/fabing or anything.
So to sum it up, you need
-the 1" axle and outer bearing with flange
-the 1" pinned/bolted wheel hub
-the 1" pinned/bolted sprocket tube

I put 1.25" axles in my Attex Li'l Truck because I got tired of fixing the one inch axles. Whipper made everything I needed (axles, sprockets, hubs). They're very strong. It sounds like it's more work than the conversion Larry suggested but I can assure you that you'll make up the time in repairs in the long run.Last edited by George; 02-17-2010, 09:50 AM.Banned
