Jet ski pump on a 6X6 (or 8X8)?

So after reading the buggymans build thread, and seeing hes awesome frakentub it really got me thinking.... Has anyone ever tried piping in a jet ski pump from mid way up the front of the tub (the part that is under water when swimming and above the mud-line) to a mid frame (under the trans) pump, and out the lower mid tub in the rear with a simple rudder setup? It would be SOOO awesome! If not IS this even feasable? Just something to think about.

I think any plumbing would quickly pack full of mud. Maybe a pair of RV sewer valves could keep the mud out yet be opened with the flick of a switch????
I don't spend enough time in the water to be worth the effort....I just want tires good enough to cross a creek or pond.
