Just got an abandoned Muscateer and have posted some newbie questions on how to get it restored/running.
One issue in cleaning the vehicle we noticed was... no drain. Now as these are pretty outdoorsy items, and go thru wet often, and are made to float... why don't the vendors put in a drain (or maybe they do in others)?
We are thinking of adding one, similar to a boat bilge drain to allow washing out and drain. After pressure wahing the interior it was a PITA to get all the water and crud out.
The existing option of siphon/scoop seems an engineering/desing shortfall. Do others have removable drain plugs? Is adding one a bad idea?
