  • modify tub on max 2

    whats the general procedure for modifying tubs.for small changes can you soften with a heat gun and press . what kind of material etc. are used for other mods,repairs. thanks johnboy va.

    6X6World members egoperf and mike should be able to help you out with this since they're both running 25's on their Max II's.

      Small changes can be done with a heat gun and using a block of wood to push the plastic.

      You are going to have to be more specific for your other question.....what are you trying to do?

        not ready to do any mods yet. was just interested in the procedures. i saw how the max 2 was modified for thjuste 25'' tires. looks like the tub has to be cut all the way around and then lifted , etc. i enjoy understanding how all the different customizings are done . thanks johnboy va.

          You're referring to thebuggyman's Max II with 26" tires I believe. That's what you have to do to fit tires larger than 25". But for tires 25" and under, many of them can fit on a Max II by simply heating and molding the tub a little: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...es-max-ii.html
