Well right on the back of my backyard, on my Jetty was this Spotted Turtle sunning himself (Herself?).

But, Turtle didn't like my company and decided to take off.

Last is a Beaver Lodge, I have seen the beavers, but have not gotten a picture yet. They take off immediately.

Besides the Beavers and turtles, we have huge bullfrogs, Tree frogs, whitetail deer, Ducks, Geese, Herons, Red Foxes, Brook Trout and Chain Pickerel that are common in/around the pond.

This wasn't while we were out riding, but the bear did stop in to the yard and have a look at the machines.

Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

      (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Went fishing in the marsh this weekend...we were setting up our canopy near our duck blind and I noticed my dog was too far away, called him to me and just as he started coming towards me, we hear the rattle and my wife yells SNAKE!!

This snake took the first .45 through the upper 1/3 and looked at me like "Is that all you got"....then he coiled up and was ANGRY....... .45 rounds 2 & 3 did the job though.

Now the wife wants a boat!! The island we fish/hunt on was named Snake Island in the local indian dialect. This is the first live rattler I have seen......I was shaking afterwards because he could have bitten my dog!

Ran into a CopperHead like that once. Glad everyone is O.K.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
