I have a Max Buffalo with tracks. It floats with them. I also have axle extenders for duals, but I haven't tried them yet. My thought was that they would improve stability in the water. We'll see if I 'm correct. The only time I've been stuck in snow with the tracks was on a frozen lake with about 18" of slush on top of the ice. I guess I wasn't really stuck, because I could back out in my own tracks, which sure beat trying to walk out in that stuff--yikes! That said, the tracks for the buffalo are a bit more aggressive than those for the Max IV.

Hi everyone, I joined a while ago and have been reading on here for a couple of years. Haven't been on in a while since my 6x6 has been inactive (been busy). Just getting it trail worthy again and figured I'd get back on here too. I have a 2000 Blue Big Foot.
Hey i am from alberta canada. I am new to the AATV world and am wanting to buy one of a friend of mine.It is a 1991 vanguad 6x6 and i am just wondering if it is a good year/model to buy. it has about 200h on it and is in mint shape. I was just wondering when i was looking at it i noticed that behind the tire where the axel goes into the housing it seams like they (axels) are not sitting in the center they seem to sit more on the bottom with more room around the top!! is this the way they are supposed to look? i looked at the other ones and they seemed to look the same. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from someone!!
I have been an owner of a Terra Tiger since 1970 until 3 weeks ago when I sold it. That particular machine we raced from 1970 until 1976 and then parked it on blocks until I sold it.
But even though we hadn't run it for 30 years I couldn't handle it and within 2 weeks I purchased a used argo frontier. What a nice machine, it handles well but well---it just isn't as fast as my racer used to be. Although getting older and less time to work on same makes it much more usable for whatever seems appropriate. Everyone have a safe year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like any outdoor sports that have a motor involved! i make most of the big ATV events like( MUDNATIONALS Mudstock, MUddigra, etc') i dont own a 6x6 but looking to buy one ive been real impressed with capabilities in some types of terrain.
Just made my first post. Live in Ohio, no AATV yet but I am fascinated. I am in industrial maintenance so I am always eyeballing machines and plan to build my own version of an AATV someday.
