Beth you think it is fun riding in the yard. Wait to you get a chance to put it in the trails. Look forward to riding with you and Brian in the future.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

      • New owner of a 98 Max IV

Just brought home my first six wheeler after thinking about it for about 8 years. It needs work, but I like it. On the trip home, four hour drive on a trailer, the windshield broke out of it! That sucked. It seems to need the t-20 adjusted it steers good to the right, but not left. I parked it and now I can't get it into reverse. It came with a top that has been in sun too much and is torn thru. But the side are still good. It has the 18hp B&S and 26" tires.

All problems aside, I still am glad I got it.

              • New Argo 8x8 owner in South Bend, IN

As of last weekend, I am the proud owner of a 2004 Argo Avenger 700. To keep my wife sane and happy, I had to choose between this purchase or giving up ice fishing after my fishing buddy and I went through the ice in my Jeep last month on Lake Simcoe in Canada. That trip was also the first time I had ever seen an Argo. Hope to continue to learn a lot from all of you. I did learn something interesting this weekend when I went out to try to have a spare key made - the John Deere tractor keys at Lowes are an exact match. I bought 2. Who knew? Mike

                • Hey all, my name is Brady, I'm a friend of jpswift1. I've owned and worked on several 6x6 AATV's, mostly MAX II's. I moved from Buffalo NY to Richmond VA about 3 years ago and was not able to take any of my AATV's with me. I'm now starting to get back into them and hopefully soon will be purchasing one. jpswift1 showed me this site and I, again hopefully, in the near future, will be posting up some of my vid's and pic's. Thanks for the invite.

                    • Hi Brady welcome to the site. It's nice to see another former northerner living in Va with an interest in AATVs. Our numbers are growing! Do you have any plans on getting another machine at some point?

I just recently purchased a hustler with the kohler 2 stroke it is currently not running I think it will run with a little cleaning of the carburetor and fuel tank along with some new fuel lines and a fuel filter the tub looks to be in good shape however the top cover needs some attention

                              • Welcome aboard all new member!

Glad to have you join the best AATV site on the net. Hope to hear from you fellows on the site and look forward to seeing some pictures and videos.

Mdhardy1, i agree with you wife. You need an AATV. I wanted a Harley but wife was not so happy about it, so when i mentioned a Argo she jumped on the Argo wagon. Was this by accident or was this a diabolical plan to get an Argo without getting resistance. I will never tell.

Anyway guys welcome to the site!!
