        • Newbie intro

Hello everyone. This is me introducing myself to the ATV community. I recently purchased a 1999 Argo Conquest and it is my first ATV. I have thought about owning an Argo for probably 20 years and now I have one and I love the thing. Even when it's a pain in the butt, I love it. Great to be here with other Argo fans...hard to find around my neck of the woods in Central Ontario. Picture to follow.

              • Robertlink02-cad ,

Welcome to the forum. There are three Hustlers, two Max II,s ,plus two Max IV,s , that are planning a ride at River Run , atv park. This atv park is on the outskirts of Jacksonville, Texas, going south west, and its not too far from you. This atv park is rated as one of the top ten atv parks in the US by mudder,s magazine. The 4-stroke Kolier thats in your Huster is a good motor, with exellent torque for where we like to ride. The places that we take our amphibs call for low end torque , not speed.

                      • Hi everyone , I'm new to the site and I just googled something on tracks I believe and came across this site. From what I had seen so far it looks like a great site with very helpful members. I own a 2003 Argo Conquest that I use for basically ice fishing here in Michigan. The 4x4 laws on the books here in the state limit the use of Argo's on trails because of the width. There is only one place to ride in the lower state over by Flint I believe called "The Mounds". I have never been there yet. I'm close to retirement and I'm hopeful that I will get to use my Argo more then. Well its good to be a member of the site. Got some pictures to upload later.

                          I'm really new also.
                          Where are you located at?
Where do you ice fish at? I fish Lake St. Clair for perch and Lexington Harbor sometimes for Steelhead.
                          later...ed
The trouble with retirement is.... I never get a day off !!!!

                            Hello MIArgo,

Dirty Harry found this place called bundy hill that may be cool but they just closed and not sure when they reopen. I'm hoping its just closed for hunting or something. Here is his thread with a link to the bundy hill site.

The state trails up north baldwin area can be riden on with 6 wheeler. Trucks/cars and buggies are allowed. Its the smaller trails that branch off them they dont allow and I have rode quads in them and they bairly fit. It rutted bad and its like driving a 50"+\- quad in a 50 1/2" rut if you know what I mean.

I tried to get a gathering at "the mounds" this year but if failed. Maybe we can try another some time.
