Hello all thank you to allow me to ask for advice
I never had any atv other than 4x4 I am thinking of buying a used 2010 Argo frontier 580 6x6 with tracks that the owner said he put together with conveyor belt fabric reinforced material 12 inches wide 3/8 inch thick connected with pins it also has hd wheel axle extenders since the tracks are not made by Argo do you think this would be ok? Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I have no experience with anything other than regular 4 wheelers thanks again. Anthony

Hi John and Anthony, welcome to the site. Anthony, try posting your question in the track forum for a better response but it's not uncommon to find conveyor belt tracks and there is nothing wrong with them in general, you just never know how homemade tracks will work or last when you are purchasing them second hand. I wouldn't shy away from the machine because of the tracks but I wouldn't pay extra for them either. Again, someone with more track experience may be able to help you in the track forum. Good luck.

Well my name is Dan. I'm from Duluth Minnesota. I picked up a 1974 MAX II 340T from my cousins grandfather! It has been sitting in a lean two for 20+ years. The motor was seized from sitting I got it unstuck and put a tillotson carb on it and matter of fact fired her up the other day in the shop. Waitin on a throttle cable. So have not takin it for a ride yet! Can't wait though. Wanna see what it can do?

This was in late seventies i still have some of the hose reels, trailers and may have parts manuals I kept a couple until a few years ago then sold what I had left to Shoson, inc in Harper, Kansas. They may still have parts for them, been a long time. Good machines. Some had Wisconsin gas and some had Perkins 4-108 diesels. Most trouble I had was chain slipping. Finally ran a trunion bar inside. I don't get on net often, but if I can help, let me know.
Ten KIDs?! Very cool! If I had all of those, it would have been very difficult for me to part with them. Welcome to the site, guys!"Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

Hi Steve, welcome to the site. You aren't far away from Goldsboro. If you are free this weekend you should try to make the 6x6 ride there at the Busco Beach ATV park. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/trail...-7-2013-a.html

Howdy Randy,
Welcome to the site. There are several members in your general area. You may want to search the "Local 6x6 World Members" forum to see if there is a thread for WI or MN members yet. If not, you may want to start one and see who is close by. Good to have you on the forum.
