    • Morning everyone, happy to finally become a member and looking forward to finding some much needed information and helping anybody out that I can. I currently own a 1989 6 wheel drive argo and I just purchased a 16 wheel bush swamper. If anyone has a operators manual and service manual for the Bush swamper I would really appreciate it. Hope to talk with some of ya's soon. Happy mud play everyone.

      • Hello bush wacked, welcome to the forum. I have a feeling there will be a lot of interest in your Bush Swamper. That is such a cool machine. Upload some pictures of it to the gallery if you get a chance. We would love to see it.

              • My name is James, and I live in North Carolina. I just inherited a max 2 from my father in law. It stopped running so where it quit is where it has set for about 10 years, out in the weather of course. I am trying to get it going again, and have ran into a problem. The t20 will not shift at all. It is stuck in reverse and will not budge. Anybody have any suggestions on what might be the problem?

                • Hello SwineSlayer here. I bought a hoot saterday. It was said to be a 2013 with 30 hours on it . Backed it off the truck and went to the river! It had a hard time climbing hills. Im going to try to adjust the belts but i was wondering if anyone had an imput? I will make it work and become an amphibious owner . Even if i have to change transmissions ? Was i hoot-doed?

Hello James, welcome to the forum. I would start by checking the diamond shifters. Search the forum and you should be able to find several threads detailing what to do. Here's one to get you started: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/trans...tml#post108640

Hello SwineSlayer, welcome to the forum and congratulations on picking up your Hoot. I think you're on the right track. Start with the simple things like making sure the belt is adjusted properly and also make sure it wasn't wet/slipping.

                      • Thanks for the info on the diamond shifters. I pulled them out today( one easily and the other a pain). Got them back in and seems to be shifting fine. Is it normal to have to rock back and forth to change gears?

                        • That is normal for a T20. It will become second nature after a while.
