Hello this is Motor Head I Live in central Minnesota I have owned about 5 recreative max ii 's and a scrambler 6x6, when I was growing up I got to know this guy that was paralyzed in a car wreck and he had an attex and a scrambler and that's when it all got started, (my passion for amphibious 6x6's). Recently I bought a 2006 max ii and for some unknown reason they put the muffler in the engine compartment which I don't care for cause it gets to hot in there and I don't enjoy driving it as much as I did my other max's, so I purchased an external muffler kit from 6x6 parts. I was wondering if anybody had any info on the mounting brackets and heat shield for mounting the muffler above the left rear tire any info would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me talk.

Greetings! I've longed for Max or Argo for years and finally pulled the trigger and bought a 1997 Max IV with a 20hp motor. It's in very good shape, water tight, and runs great. But I can't leave things alone to long. I live in Oregon, and my goal is the sand dunes, and snow. I want to ultimately swap out the tires, purchase tracks, and pick brains on building bearing cages to be able to run tracks without damaging the machine. Also, I plan on making a lot of kids happy getting to ride and drive a 6x6. I look forward to learning from everyone here and posting pictures!

Hey guys, thanks for the approval. I’m currently in the middle of finishing a deal on a 2017 Avenger 8x8 HDI, and what a deal I’m getting! Unit has 1.8 kilometres on it, and all the bells and whistles, ROPS, canopy, warn winch, and a trailer, and I’m basically getting it for half of what it’s worth! Super excited! My hunting season is going to be great this year!

Hello all, I'm Bob from Ellsworth Wi. at the present time I don't own a aatv but I'm looking. I do have a yamaha kodiak 4x4, and a Can Am Commander 800xt. I'm not really sure which brand or model I'm going to get, right now I'm still trying to figure it out. Seen lots of YouTube vids, and the sport really looks fun, but I guess my main objective would get one for ice fishing. So thanks for adding me to the group, I look forward to learning all I can from all the post here.

Hi all.
Just picked up a new Argo 6x6 frontier scout. Nice ride incredible handles the northern Michigan swamps with easy.
Only complaint I would have is it’s a little difficult to get into. Anyone have a step to get in there machines if so do you find it helpful.

There are steps available for the machine that can be put on by the dealer, sometimes the factory sends them and sometimes not. They are not recommended for use with track as they will collect debris.
My father has them on his Frontier 8x8 and uses them.

I am Ben, I am from Baltimore. I just got a McKee rough rider from craigslist. Its missing some of the drive train. I have read up on these, looks like a nice machine. Besides the motor, its missing the center shaft that is connected to the motor with the 2 pulleys on each end, and the shaft above that which has the brakes.
