I use neoprene liners and over-sized outer gloves; usually just leather work gloves. The neoprene keeps my digits warm and the leather keeps the wind from getting through.

Buy a set of heated grips and just run the power wires up through the laterals from the bottom, the wires will not break unless you route them improperly or have them pulling on some crazy tight angle. I've been running a set of heated grips on my bobcat for 4 years and everything is as good as the day they were installed.

What make of heated grips do you have, it sounds like a good idea.

The good folks at HOT GRIPS are sending me some samples of their wire to test bend in the cold ( shipped Monday ). As crazy as it sounds, I hope we get a few more mornings @ -40 F so I can bend and twist it in the cold to see how it takes it. I have great luck with them on sleds and wheelers but they don't twist as much as the Argo. I will let you guys know how it turns out.

will be interesting to hear how it goes. Here's hoping for the cold.
I have -22 coming up this weekend but this winter has been crap and have not seen less then - 34 and only seen that once.
Damn melt thaw, melt thaw is horrible

              HI
Kinda late now to respond but I just saw the post, I use Choko Claw Mitts, great combo of glove/mitt and I live in Northern Maine and it gets very cold, I use them for snowmobiling and 6 wheeling. You could also install a aftermarket thumb warmer for snowmobiles.

Thanks Larry and never too late.... winter will be back before we know it.
I don't see how a thumb warmer would work since I need to constantly rotate the throttle. I am going through the bush so on and off the throttle. Can't use the trails here in the winter, sleds only.
I am going to try the heated grips.
One of the big problem I find with any winter type glove is control of the twist throtte. A less bulky wind proof glove and heated grip may alleviate that
