Is there ANYBODY in amphib land who hasn't been thereLOL I have the perfect cross sectional view of a number 2 shovel THROUGH the door of my shop from the max rebuild.Sometimes those tub parts just will not line up at all until you show them EXACTLY what is gonna happen to 'em if they don't start acting right and SOON.I think that the only casualty from the 950 build was the motor mount but that is another storywell any how I for one am sure glad you changed your mind.--Gregg

Call me when you break your thumb with a hammer.....seriously, I did that while trying to remove an axle!

You are just at the stage where you need stick time vs. wrench time. There is some sort of inverse mathematical relationship between the two, but my math skills are not good enough to nail it down......
      Hammers should have warning labels.

        been there also

Love my Attex's but you ride them for an hour and then work on them for a week. And why is it the part you need to replace always rusted in place and out of stock?

I wondered how you got your site name. I kinda thought there was a injury involved.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Try this for starters. Stick time > Maintenance time. Or maybe Time at home - time spent with the family = AATV time!

In a time of great frustration, I once told my wife I'm going to be one of those people who throw out a lawnmower just because it needs a new spark plug.
It hasn't happened yet and I doubt it ever will.

There are advantages of having many machines and many projects. If I get frustrated with a project I go for an AATV ride or work on another project that's not as frustrating as the original.

Thanks everyone out in 6X6 world!!!!

I've been there myself! When I get frustrated, I take a break, and get online. If it wasn't for this website, knowing there were others out there going thru the same trials and tribulations, I might have givin' up too.
sigpic Attex, there is no substitute

Would love to see the hustler with better picts. if possible. My email is goldengypsy1945@yahoo.com if you want to send them there. I live in Salt Lake City and own a hustler, my second, and love to work on them. It will cost hundreds to ship it to me so I have to be sure I want it. best regards, geo
