So a lesson to all! driving on on a flatbed trailer has risks. From this point on I will be winching the max up the ramps. I had taken the Max off of the trailer using the boat-style hand winch.
I'm completely to blame. I know better and I did it anyway. I was in a hurry and I drove my Max up the ramps on to the trailer. Once on top of the snow covered wood deck I starter to spin & slide. With a real fear I would go off sideways and thinking that I could just roll back down the ramps, I let it roll back. Little did I know that the ramps had been kicked off by my wheel spin. within a split second I flipped over and had the Max pinning me to the frozen ground. If anything I made the best possible fall, I don't have a roll bar but the rear rack and the nose kept the Max off of my body. I had been hauling chains and a chain saw on the floor luckly I had unloaded them into the truck otherwise they would have rained down on me. With the strength of a near-miss filling my viens with adrenalin I kicked up with my legs and flipped the max off of me. As you can imagine I landed hard! and it took a few minutes to put it all together. I got the Max on it's wheels and parked it where it was. My back hurt bad, I had landed across one of the ramps right at my waist.
So it looks like I will get away with sore back for a week or so, which if you ask me is getting away cheap. This could have ended with a headstone.
Think twice & Stay carefull out there!
