Hi new here but been lurking for a while anywho, I have an early argo that I plan on restoring and in my search for parts a guy at work says he has an aatv he wants to sell but has no idea what it is all he can tell me is it is four stroke and is hydrolic driven. My question is did anybody even build one? I haven't ever seen one

check out this link.
if it's one of these it might be worth getting your hands on.

the way i see it, all machined asr worth getting your hands on then you can assess it's usefullness to your fleet. if you can post up some pictures i'm sure someone on here can help identify itA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

There were/are several made that are hydraulic driven. Hydrotraxx is thte first one that popped into my mind - Hydrotraxx Home - Custom 6x6 Amphibious All Terrain Vehicles - Hydraulic Drive for Ultimate Durabality.
By the way, welcome to the forum. How much work do you have to do to your Argo to get it going?

It could also be a KIDD 8x8. These machines are all steel, big, and heavy. They go for a pretty high price when sold as well. There are a couple of hydrostatic driven amphibs out there, but like it was mentioned, they guy might just think the T-20 was a big hydrostatic pump or something along those lines. Post up some pictures if you could. I would just buy it though. I totally agree with this quote below: Heck I buy machines even if I cant find it's usefulness in my fleet. I just love amphibs and have to have every one I see!

Thanks for the info, I got a bit more info today it is six wheeled, comes with eight new tires and a set of tracks! And he priced it to me for $500 so I wrote him a check on the spot without even looking at it, before he had time to think about it. I figured the tires alone were worth that not to mention the tracks
Im going to get it friday afternoon I'll post a pic or two when I get it home

Im a huge fan too, and my dad and I are the proud owners of some old and new Mopars."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

A Ridgerunner! That's a rare and unique machine indeed. There's very little information on them, but a brochure and some pics on Richard's site General Information
Good luck with it!Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

The tracks are probably worth the $500 by themselves, and the Ridgerunner as well, just for it's conversational value.
