That was a blast. I found myself ducking my head down a little out of habit when the Max II jumped in the water. They always create a splash that is delayed a second or so from when you hit the water. It seems to always send the coldest water down the back of your neck.

This machine is a real beast with power and gears to back it up. I can turn the tracks as well as the entire machine just like it had the Admiral transmission. The power never runs out and its my belief this is the best engine in an amphibious atv that I've driven to date.

The Generac engines come stock with an oversized air intake fan, this machine has never overheated even with the hood on and driven in warm weather here in Texas. I have never had to run the machine above 2/3rds throttle as it has power to spare.

The Adair tracks will pull this machine over just about anything. One thing I like about Argos is that there is plenty of ground clearance even with stock machines.

The Generac engine is very similar in size to the 23hp B&S in my other machine. Its a totally different machine however with loads of power on tap, and of course the fact that Argo really builds a good machine.
Noel, thanks for taking the time to give us a review. I had a chance to purchase that machine at a very good price and passed up on buying it. That is a decision I regret to this day.

Wow aren't you the lucky man with two Argo Frontiers, a girl friend who likes AATV's as much as you do, and two of the best ATV parks in the world within a stones throw of your home.. That custom built Generec powered machine sounds nice, I assume that it has all the power you would ever need in a 6x6 Frontier. How about giving us a little review of that custom built machine, let other forum members know what you have and how you like it!
