          • My 503 Max

Last summer (07) test run of my max w/ 503 rotax - finally converted the crappy video off the phone.

            • I LOVE the Rotax sound 'Tech! Did you ever change the drive clutch on that engine? I know this was the test run, but I forget if you ever changed the engagement point. You're using an aweful lot of RPMs, that should be translating into gobs of eye-watering speed. The 503 makes a lot of torque (for a two stroke ) in the lower RPM range, and you might benefit by swapping over to a clutch that is more adjustable than the original Bombardier equipment.

              • No, that's something I've procrastinated on doing (partially due to the cost and partially due to the fact that I can barely get my belt off between the current clutch and body as it is now). The comet clutch looks tad bit larger. I'm open for any suggestions.

I climb this before playing around and had no problems. Had some problems today but maybe it was the snow. I had my son filming and didnt relize how long he had it taping and there was a spot where I was going straight for the fence. I was actually trying to cover up the holes by skidding over them in a turn, lol. I didnt hear him asking to stop either. Just some good fun.

                      • Kovac, that looked like a fun place to ride. Wide open space with lots of snow.

Larry, I love that you turned a row boat into an obstacle to climb over. It's the little things in life

                          MIke ,

I agree with you . Give me some muddy , watery , and swampy terrain to play in , with my Max IV , and it could be just a block square , and I,d have fun in it .

I wonder how many forum members would venture out into a swamp like this alone , with out another amphib following them for back up ?
